Mountaineering Safaris in East Africa
From a day on Longonot's crater rim to the Roof of Africa.
East Africa's mountains are some of the most rewarding in the world, and most need no technical climbing — just fitness, the right pace and a good support team. We arrange guided climbs of Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya, Mount Meru, the Rwenzori Mountains, Mount Elgon and Rwanda's Virunga volcanoes, plus Mount Longonot as a day hike from Nairobi.
Every climb is led by licensed mountain guides with porters and a cook, on routes paced for acclimatisation. We match the mountain and route to your experience and the time you have, and can add a safari or beach stay once you are back down.
